Why In-Person

Some things you can only learn in a room

We don't just teach you to play we build complete musicians.
Every class, every term, every level.

icon

Expert Faculty Access

Between lessons, students can ask questions, watch peers learn, and interact with instructors informally. This depth of access accelerates growth significantly.

icon

Real-Time Correction

Your instructor can hear exactly how you're playing posture, touch, dynamics and correct it on the spot. This kind of feedback simply isn't possible over a screen.

icon

Professional Instruments

Practice on studio-grade guitars, acoustic pianos, and professional keyboards. Knowing how a great instrument feels sets the right standard from day one.

icon

Ensemble & Peer Learning

Play with other students, form duos, join group jams. Learning to listen and respond to other musicians is a skill that only develops when you're in the room together.

icon

Performance Opportunities

Our centre hosts regular student recitals and showcases. Every student performs publicly and when you perform in the same space you practise, confidence comes naturally.

icon

Structured Environment

A dedicated learning space removes distractions and builds focus. Students at our centre consistently show stronger practice habits than those who only study at home.

What to Expect

Every class covers all five dimensions of musicianship

Technique & Instrument Mechanics

Proper posture, touch, and playing mechanics introduced from day one so good habits are built early and bad ones never take hold.

Music Theory & Western Notation

Students learn to read and understand music — using Western staff notation, scales, chord theory, and rhythm — all grounded in practical application.

Ear Training

Inspired by the Kodály approach, students develop active listening skills — recognising intervals, pitch, harmony, and rhythm by ear, not just by sight.

Performance & Stage Presence

Regular in-class performances, ensemble work, and term-end recitals build the confidence to play in front of people not just alone at home.

Creativity & Musical Expression

Improvisation, arrangement, and personal expression are built into the curriculum so students develop a musical voice, not just technical proficiency.

*Each class is designed to develop all five dimensions of musicianship

Format

Group Classes

Learn alongside peers at a similar level. Group classes build ensemble skills, healthy competition, and the social dimension of music — all while being cost-effective.

FAQs

Everything you need to know.

How long is the free demo class?
The demo class is a 30–45 minute session where your child gets to try the instrument with one of our instructors. There's no commitment required it's simply an opportunity to experience the MindRaga approach firsthand.
Do students need to own an instrument before joining? +
Not at all. Our centre is fully equipped with professional guitars, keyboards, and pianos. Students can practise on our instruments during lessons. We do recommend getting your own instrument after the first month, and our team is happy to advise on what to buy.
What age groups do you teach? +
We teach students from age 5 upwards, including adults. Our curriculum is structured into age-appropriate levels so whether you're enrolling a 6-year-old or yourself, we have a program tailored to you.
How long does it take to see real progress? +
Most students are playing recognisable songs within their first few weeks. Formal milestones are mapped per term, and students receive a progress report at the end of each term so progress is always visible and measurable not just felt.
What is the Trinity exam pathway and is it mandatory? +
Trinity College London exams are internationally recognised music certifications (Grade 1–8). Our curriculum aligns with Trinity grading standards — but exams themselves are optional. Students who choose to sit for them receive dedicated exam prep. Many students enjoy the structured goal and the credential it provides.
What is the fee structure? +
Fees vary based on the instrument, class format (private vs group), and number of sessions per week. Our team will share a full breakdown during your demo visit or over a call — reach us at +91 70210 05426 or info@mindraga.in.
Can we pause or stop mid-term? +
We understand that schedules and commitments change. Our team is always happy to discuss flexible arrangements. Please speak to us before the start of a new term for the smoothest experience.
