Riffs, solos, and the full expressive range of the electric guitar taught with proper technique from day one. Our electric program covers everything from clean chord work to lead playing and improvisation.
From first-time learners discovering rhythm to serious students preparing for stage, exams, recording, and live band performance — each level gets a curriculum designed specifically for the student’s current skill, pace, and musical goals.
Year 1 builds the student’s core foundation. Students begin with posture, basic chords, simple strumming, and familiar songs, then gradually move into smoother chord changes, rhythm patterns, fingerpicking basics, and complete songs.

Smoother chord transitions, up/down strumming, basic rhythm notation, and more repertoire.
4–5 songs across styles, basic fingerpicking introduction, and first confident performance.
Year 2 helps students move beyond basic playing. They begin reading music, understanding scales, developing lead guitar skills, exploring improvisation, and playing more complete repertoire with better timing, tone, and confidence.
Single-note melodies, strings 1–3, staff notation basics, and simple reading exercises.
Pentatonic scale, basic lead patterns, simple solos, and backing track practice.
Barre chords, stronger rhythm control, improvisation basics, and genre-based songs.
Playing with others, simple arrangements, stage confidence, and performance-ready repertoire.
Year 3 is for students who are ready to become confident performers. The focus shifts to advanced technique, stronger musical expression, composition, improvisation, ensemble work, and preparation for global exams or stage performances.
Advanced exercises, tone control, clean transitions, speed building, and dynamic playing.
Improvisation over backing tracks, phrasing, pentatonic expansion, and modal introduction.
Advanced songs, arrangement work, ensemble practice, and stage preparation.
Mock exams, sight-reading, aural practice, technical work, and annual recital performance.
Year 4 is designed for serious learners who are ready to move beyond structured lessons into artistry. The focus is on personal style, advanced performance, original music, live band work, recording basics, and preparation for higher-level global exams or professional opportunities.
High-level songs, advanced technical work, tone shaping, and stylistic interpretation.
Improvisation, phrasing, genre study, dynamics, and developing a personal sound.
Original music ideas, arrangement, recording basics, and building a performance portfolio.
Band collaboration, stage performance, advanced exam preparation, and final showcase.
